Gracious Word: Albeit

3/6/2014

albeit
Word every Gracious Individual should know: Albeit

Definition: Albeit; (Pronounced: awl-bee-it) Conjunction
1. Although.

Why I love this word:
Definitely a good word to use in your english paper to sound more fancy. Albeit is a conjunction for although, so if you have found yourself writing this word often and need a better, more sophisticated alternative, use albeit in replace of although. "He was making progress, albeit rather slowly."
