Gracious Word: Desultory

1/4/2014

Desultory
Word every Gracious Individual should know: Desultory

Definition: Desultory; (Pronounced: des-uhl-tawr-ee) Latin; adjective
1. Lacking in consistency, constancy, or visible order; disconnected.

Why I love this word:
We all have aspirations, and motivation comes and goes, and being desultory is not a good trait to possess. People feel bursts of motivation to do more, be better and accomplish more, but this feeling goes away and the act of acquire their dreams become inconsistent and therefore more difficult to achieve.
