Gracious Word: Dysania

3/11/2014

dysania
Word every Gracious Individual should know: Dysania

Definition:
Dysania; noun
1. Finding it extremely hard to get up in the morning.

Why I love this word:
Some of us have an incredible relationship with our beds, and it's simply difficult to leave them every morning and take on the day. Dysania explains the feeling you get in the morning where you just don't want to get up. You feel as if your alarm is trying to break you and your bed apart and you're in this state of denial that it's not the morning yet; you have only slept for 20 minutes, you need more time to rest. Especially now that the weather is starting to cool down and mornings are chilly, you don't want to leave your warm, comfortable bed. But the marvelous day awaits you! Rise and shine and have a fabulous day!
