Gracious Word: Effusive

3/19/2014

effusive
Word every Gracious Individual should know: Effusive

Definition: Effusive; (Pronounced: iˈfyo͞osiv) adjective
1. Expressing feelings of gratitude, pleasure, or approval in an unrestrained or heartfelt manner.

Why I love this word:
This word relates all back to being gracious--it's just a different way of saying it. To be effusive, you acknowledge all the goodness in your life and it simply warms your heart just thinking about how grateful you are for everything. If you are not feeling effusive towards anything in your life, then sit down and really think it through. There is something miraculous in everyones life, you just have to find the candle and light the flame.
