Gracious Word: Palinoia

6/14/2014

Palinoia
Word every Gracious Individual should know: Palinoia

Definition: Palinoia (pronounced: pa-li-‘noy-a); Greek; noun
1. The obsessive repetition of an act until it is perfect or mastered.

Why I love this word:
You know the phrase 'practice makes perfect.' Don't forget one important component; 'perfect practice makes perfect.' You must practice the same way you know you need to perform. Treat every practice like the real game, the actual performance, the final cut. That's the only way you will grow, and grow perfectly.
