Definition: Skinship; Japenese;n
1. Bonding through the intimacy of touch, especially of the closeness between a mother and child.
Why I love this word:
I am not able to tell you how many times I have longed for my mother when something bad happens in my life. So far, her comfort is the only thing I go to when I need someone there for me. She's the only person in my life who has always been there for me and didn't leave when I drove her to the point of complete madness, or when I had given her every reason to give up on me. My mother's unconditional love is something I've learned to be incredibly grateful for. Because no one else in life will stick through it all like a mother does.
Happy Mother's Day.
