Gracious Word: Vacillate

4/3/2014

Vacillate
Word every Gracious Individual should know: Vacillate

Definition: Vacillate (pronounced:
vas-uh-leyt); Latin; verb
1. To swing indecisively from one idea to another

Why I love this word:
Yes, we change our plans often. What seems fickle feels just fine to us. I've been learning to roll with the punches and go with what feels right. To vacillate is to waver in mind or opinion; be indecisive or irresolute. As young adults, this is normal and a part of life. What we choose now will determine the rest of our lives and that's a terrifying thought. But we have faith in ourselves and have all the belief that whatever we choose, we will be happy.
