Gracious Word: Ascetic

2/10/2014

Ascetic
Word every Gracious Individual should know: Ascetic

Definition: Ascetic; (Pronounced: əˈsetik); Greek; adjective
1. Characterized by or suggesting the practice of severe self-discipline and abstention from all forms of indulgence.

Why I love this word:
A person who renounces material comforts and leads a life of austere self-discipline will live the live they create. With training, patience and discipline you can change your life, the way you think, and ultimately the way you live your life.
