Gracious Words: Affect Vs. Effect

3/24/2014

Two words every Gracious Individual should know: Affect and Effect

Definitions:

1. Affect a verb implying change
2. Effect a noun meaning the result

Why I love these words:
These two words get confused and mixed up a lot. They both sound the same and are used in the same context, but both are spelled differently, have slightly different meanings and are differentiated when it's appropriate to use them. I hope the definitions I provided simplifies the confusion and helps you remember when to use both.
