Take a Break
Life has given you a chance to make decisions that will ultimately differentiate the outcome of the rest of your life. Take time to pause, reflect and be discerning about the next phase of your life. Sometimes, we may think that taking a break becomes a universal sign of failure and the inability to continue to progress forward. In this stage we panic and gasp for external experiences to define us differently and to tell us it will be alright. But in reality, if you don't take a moment to pause, take a step back to evaluate your life to see where you currently are and where you'd like to be, you will never truly progress forward and take the necessary steps to continue to grow.
Let Go of the Worry
With the unknown, we often feel that significant loss of our control and worrying can become an easy outlet or substitute. Instead of focusing on the fear and the negatives, focus how you can use this energy into something productive. Instead of employing fear, spend your energy investing in a way where you can make a difference in your life and possibly even in the life of others.
Be Expectant and Prepared
Not everyday will be miraculous, everyone will have excellent days and some empty days. It's important to keep your head leveled during both; stay humble during your excellent days and do not let an empty day feel like an opportunity to fail. Instead, think about your blessings and begin to feel gratitude for all that has been given to you.
Rather than seeing the unknown as a season that defines you, use it as an opportunity to ask more questions and innocently ask for information. Use this time to get to know yourself better and learn about the aspects of your life you may have never noticed. This is a time for exponential growth, and while that may be nerve-wrecking and terrifying, it will all work out in the end. Try to enjoy the simplicity of life while you still can.
