Spend Your Weekend Wisely
You can't have a great Monday morning if you had a lousy weekend. It is important to have time to yourself, relax and think freely. Don't stay up late Sunday night if you know it will be more difficult to get up in the morning. If you are stressed about something that's due Monday, you have an entire weekend to accomplish it and ensure it is perfect. You will then be able to begin the week with a fresh start rather than bringing last week's troubles with you.
Get Up Earlier
Some people prefer the early morning. Other people, however, may prefer the snooze button. For those who aren't early risers, laying in bed until the last moment and stumbling for the rest of the day can be the reason your Mondays are such a drag. When you wake up and get up (there's a difference) earlier, even if it is just 15 minutes earlier, your morning might be a little less stressful and tiring. Besides, the earlier you get up, the more time you have in the day to achieve all of your goals and other great things!
You even will see yourself have a more positive feeling towards the rest of the day. You have more than enough time to get up and ready and you will quickly learn to appreciate the personal time you'll have in the mornings right before starting your day. Isn't it amazing how simply waking up earlier can change your attitude on not only your day, but the rest of your life? This has to be a choice, if you begin to dread waking up in the morning, you will have a difficult morning. If you go to bed, excited for the next day ahead, you'll wake up less grumpy and more determined.
Realize The Opportunity
A new week brings with it the possibilities of new success. The weekends may be relaxing and fun but normally you don't get to do any work! (If you are fortunate enough to have a job you love, not doing any work is a bad thing.) Monday's give you a whole week to look forward to in being productive, taking on new projects and getting things done.
Successful Minds Love Mondays
I believe that if you do what you love and you aspire to become great, you will love working, no matter the day. When you are aligned with your passion, you don't hate Monday's--you live for them. The weekend is every successful minds least favorite time. The weekend brings with it laziness, gluttony and complacency--there's a drop in productivity. A successful mind works for his weekend while workers wait for it. They use the weekend to rest and recharge for another week of success. When you are on a disciplined track in making your goals happen, you want to work on them every single day. If you don't love getting up on Monday and diving straight into your work, you're not in the right field.
A successful mind experiences freedom that others can only dream about. They love Mondays because this is the day to restart the work cycle. Success isn't measured by how much money you make. If you don't love your life or your work, you are not successful. If you love your work and feel fulfilled, you will always look forward to working. Especially on a Monday morning.
